The first consultant to pioneer the inBlue technology for lower operating costs and low chlorine by-product formation was the company called Rambøll. Chief consultant, Henning Hammerich engineered the system for Køge Waterpark together with inBlue´s head of innovation, Ole Grønborg. To avoid corrosion, the system was designed with titanium reinforced drum filters. The drum filters were designed by Rambøll with integrated balance tanks.
The Ultraaqua UV was implemented for combined chlorine removal. Based on experiences from, for example Lalandia Rødby, Rambøll has designed several other systems. Køge Waterpark is in a beautiful building and is hugely popular in the area, with high bather load. Five of inBlue´s water treatment systems are operating in the basement.
