The renovation of the East Kilbride Swimming pool took place in 2017 with the implementation of the inBlue solution to provide a new water treatment system for the facility. As a result the quality of the water and the swimming environment improved allowing the bathers to enjoy their stay without experiencing the negative symptoms caused by chlorine by-products.
The pool area includes
- A 50 m long Olympic sized swimming pool with depth of 1,2 – 3,8 m
and with a small water slide at the shallowest end of the pool. - A 12 x 5,6 m warm water pool with depth of 1,2 – 1,4 m
mainly used for physiotherapy and baby swimming, also including a hot tub.
