The POOLRAY series is developed for disinfection and combined chlorine removal in swimming pools, being optimized for the lowest possible investment costs for a simple professional system. Since chlorine makes wiping of the quarts sleeve a non-frequent operation in most pools, it is not standard, but optional. Disassembly and cleaning are simple procedures. The single-ended UV lamp can be serviced tool-free. The sensor operates directly in water for accurate output and has a specifally developed valve mechanism for cleaning and servicing during operation, where flow-stop is prohibited during opening hours.
The reactor geometries and electronic control systems have been designed to minimize operating costs in pools. The large, flanged connections and body geometry result in very low head loss even at a high flow rate. The PLC control enables excellent automatic operational efficiency by lamp dimming based on time of day/week timers. Material selection and components of high industrial quality guarantee long-term trouble-free operation in the mostly hot, humid, and corrosive pool environments.
All UV lamps destroy PVC pipes in chlorinated water, which eventually might break. To avoid general problems, the POOLRAY UV has sufficient steel chamber length to make it possible to install directly in most PVC pipes. To be sure to avoid problems in PVC pipes, additional PE or steel piping can be used, placed one meter from the powerful UV lamps. We also provide optional light blockers, preventing direct UV radiation from escaping from the reactor.
